Bis zum <strong>18. Jahrhundert<\/strong> waren die <strong>Gondeln<\/strong> haupts\u00e4chlich im Besitz von <strong>Adligen<\/strong>, f\u00fcr die <strong>die Gondoliere<\/strong> f\u00fcr einen eher geringen Lohn arbeiteten.   <\/p><p><strong>Gondoliere<\/strong> waren im Grunde genommen <strong>Taxifahrer<\/strong> und somit immer auf dem Laufenden, was den Klatsch und Tratsch um die Elite der Stadt anging, die in <strong>Bordelle<\/strong> und <strong>Spielh\u00f6llen<\/strong> ging oder einfach nur <strong>private Zeit<\/strong> mit ihren Liebhabern in der Felze der Gondel verbrachte, einer Abdeckung in der <strong>Mitte der Gondel<\/strong>, die f\u00fcr die dringend ben\u00f6tigte Geheimhaltung sorgte und heute nicht mehr in Gebrauch ist.<\/p><p>Und gerade weil sie so viel \u00fcber so viele wussten, waren <strong>die Gondoliere<\/strong> entschuldigt, <strong>laut und forsch<\/strong> zu sein. Es ist bekannt, dass Ihr <strong>Gondoliere<\/strong>, wenn Sie auf einem <strong>kleinen Kanal<\/strong> um eine <strong>Ecke<\/strong> biegen, sein \u201eO\u00e9\u201c als Warnung f\u00fcr die anderen Gondoliere schreit, ein Ger\u00e4usch, das zu einem Teil von <strong>Venedig<\/strong> selbst geworden ist. <strong>Die Gondoliere<\/strong> sind sehr stolz auf ihre Arbeit und darauf, Tr\u00e4ger einer jahrhundertealten Tradition zu sein, die sie auch dann beibehalten, wenn sie keinen <strong>italienischen<\/strong>, sondern einen rein <strong>venezianischen Dialekt<\/strong>
