Bellini was born in Venice in 1948, on the occasion of an art exhibition of Giovan Battista Bellini paintings. Giovanni Cipriani, founder of the world famous Harry’s Bar, received the task of creating a cocktail to celebrate the exhibition. He took inspiration from the warm-pink colours of the paintings to develop the recipe of this amazing drink..
