Yes, because almost everyone who bought the palace was murdered or committed suicide under special circumstances. The misfortunes began immediately!<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da72d62 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"da72d62\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5ad3e35 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5ad3e35\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The unpleasant events at Dario Palace<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ab704c7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ab704c7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>At the end of the 1400s the house passed to the daughter of the nobleman Dario, who married\u00a0<strong>Giacomo Barbaro<\/strong>, who shortly afterward was mysteriously stabbed to death, as was their son\u00a0<strong>Vincenzo<\/strong>. But it was from the 18th century onward that the sinister fortunes of the various owners followed one another relentlessly.\u00a0<strong>Palazzo Dario<\/strong>\u00a0(Dario Palace) was finally sold by the Barbarians to an\u00a0<strong>Armenian merchant<\/strong>, who enjoyed it very briefly, since he was found dead shortly after buying it.<\/p><p>The house then passed to an\u00a0<strong>English historian<\/strong>\u00a0who died in the company of his lover, probably by suicide; the same fate befell\u00a0<strong>Charles Briggs<\/strong>, an American mining owner who fled the\u00a0<strong>United States<\/strong>\u00a0with his lover after being accused of homosexuality.<\/p><p>After him an<strong>\u00a0Italian art historian<\/strong>\u00a0was killed by the 18-year-old boy who hit him on the head with a statuette. Others followed him, including the famous Who singer\u00a0<strong>Kit Lambert<\/strong>, who is said to have fallen down the stairs, although suicide is likely.<\/p><p>In the early 2000s\u00a0<strong>Woody Allen<\/strong>\u00a0showed interest in buying Ca&#8217; Dario, but then, fortunately for him, he reconsidered. Among other rumors, the palace is said to be inhabited by the ghosts of its past owners.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ca&#8217;
