My Story: Roots and Responsibility I am Caterina Pepoli and I am a true Venetian (DOC). Not only for my roots, but for the way I choose to live and protect this city every day: with care, attention, and a deep sense of pride.

I carry a surname that has a long and deep history in Venice. The name Pepoli is included in the Libro d’Oro dei Patrizi Veneziani. The Libro d’Oro was the ancient official register that, during the time of the Serenissima, recorded the noble families who governed. For me, this is a commitment to remember, every day, that Venice must be told with respect, competence, and truth.

I was born in the 1960s and have spent my life organizing travels all over the world. This experience taught me to listen to people and understand what truly makes an experience unforgettable. From this vision, Venice Tours was born. The idea is simple: those who arrive here are not tourists to be “managed,” but guests to be welcomed. A guest deserves the best: time, listening, and the discovery of that authentic Venice that often remains off the beaten path.
