Q: How many people can ride in a gondola?
A: Each gondola can accommodate a maximum of 5 passengers.
Q: How long does the tour usually last?
A: Shared tours last about 50 minutes and include the Gondola Gallery experience, a walking introduction, and the gondola ride. The private gondola ride lasts 25–30 minutes.
Q: Is it mandatory to book in advance?
A: It is not mandatory, but it is strongly recommended, especially on weekends, during Carnival, or in the summer months. Booking in advance allows you to skip the line and secure your preferred time.
Q: Will the gondolier sing or explain the history of the monuments?
A: The service does not include music unless the serenade tour is selected. Gondoliers are professional boat operators; singing or acting as tour guides is not part of their duties.
Q: What happens in case of rain or bad weather?
A: In case of rain, the tour usually runs as scheduled. It is important to go to the meeting point for check-in to receive updated information about the tour departure from our staff. If the tour is cancelled by the gondoliers, a refund will be issued.

Q: Where do Venice Tours depart from?
A: We have several meeting points and assistance points. The exact information is specified under “Meeting Point” in the selected option. For all tours, you must arrive at least 10 minutes before departure.
Q: Do I need to print the voucher or can I show it on my smartphone?
A: You can conveniently show the digital voucher on your smartphone at the meeting point.
Q: What is the “Gondola Gallery” experience included in the tour?
A: Many of our tours include access to the Gondola Gallery, an experiential exhibition dedicated to the history of the gondola. Inside, a 3D virtual experience will take you on a journey through centuries of Venetian history aboard a gondola.
Q: Can I cancel my booking?
A: Yes, you can cancel or reschedule the tour with at least 24 hours’ notice before the departure time to receive a refund.
